What a career this young lady has had at Cuyahoga Falls! As a freshman, she placed 6th in the state in the 100 breast stroke, and was an All-American and Western Reserve Swimmer of the Year. As a Cuyahoga Falls sophomore, she was sectional and district champs in the 100 freestyle, an All American Honorable Mention in the 100 breast stroke, 100 freestyle, 200 medley, and 50 freestyle and 1st team Western Reserve Conference. As a junior, she was Sectional Champ in the 100 free style, 1st team all Western Reserve Conference, and once again, All-State in the 100 freestyle, 50 freestyle, and 200 medley. She completed her career by placing 7th in the state in the 100 freestyle and 4th in the state in the 50 meter freestyle. She is 18th in her class with a 4.026 GPA, a member of the National Honor Society, a Rotary Scholar, Captain of the Girls Golf Team, Academic All-State, and an Academic All-American. She will now trade her black and gold in for the red and white of Indiana where she received a scholarship. Since our school district was formed in 1854, Kelsey will go down as one of our best athletes, male or female, in our history! She has been inducted into the Cuyahoga Falls High School Athletic Hall of Fame! |
